The long-range RFD9090 reads to roughly 23 m, for high-bay racking and yard work where the tag is out of reach.
The RFD9090 is the long-range member of the ultra-rugged sled line. Where the RFD9030 reads to about 6.7 m, this one reaches roughly 23 m — the difference between counting a shelf and counting a high bay or a loaded yard.
Everything else matches its stablemate: IP65 and IP67 sealing, drops of about 1.8 m, more than 1,300 tags per second, eConnex pairing to Zebra mobile computers and third-party smartphones, and Wi-Fi 6 for over-the-air updates.
Adaptors are tool-free, and the scan engine is a choice of SE4750MR or the extended-range SE4850.
