A labelling machine range of our own: MELARKO LS

The catalogue now carries our own labelling machine range: MELARKO LS, 72 models, from a tabletop unit for a small bottling room to inline machines that label two sides of a square bottle at production speed.

Why we built a range instead of reselling one

Labelling is where most quote requests we get end up, and the machine that fits depends on the container more than on anything else. A round bottle, a tapered jar, a soft tube, a folded carton and a flat lid each need a different application method. Covering that with one supplier’s standard line meant telling customers “close enough” more often than we liked, so we put together a range that covers the shapes our customers actually run.

What the range covers

• Wrap-around and single- or double-side labelling for round bottles and jars
• Flat-surface labelling for boxes, lids, pouches and cards
• Corner and tamper-evident labelling for cartons
• Shrink-sleeve application
• Tapered containers and soft tubes
• Tabletop machines for short runs, inline machines for continuous production

Each model has its own page in the equipment catalogue, with the container sizes and label sizes it handles, and the application positions it can reach. The specification tables are marked as preliminary until each factory datasheet is confirmed — we would rather say so than publish a number we cannot stand behind.

Service comes with it

An LS machine is installed, commissioned and serviced by the same engineers who look after the rest of the catalogue, from the same spare parts stock. That is the point of having our own range rather than a drop-shipped one: see what service covers and how we work.

If you are labelling something our catalogue does not obviously cover, tell us the container and the label and we will find the model — or say honestly that there is not one. The quote form is the fastest route.
