The current generation of Zebra's affordable rugged tablet line — Wi-Fi 7, an 8-inch or 10.1-inch 1920x1200 display and IP68 sealing, with an optional SR500 or SE4100 scan engine for retail, DSD and light warehouse work.

The ET401 is the next generation of Zebra's ET4x tablet line, built around a Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-6690 platform, Wi-Fi 7 and an 8-inch or 10.1-inch WUXGA (1920x1200) display, at a price point aimed at upgrading consumer tablets out of retail and DSD fleets. IP68 sealing and a -20°C to 50°C operating range carry it through cold-chain and outdoor delivery work that a consumer tablet can't survive.

Scanning is camera-based standard, with an optional SR500 or SE4100 1D/2D engine for teams that scan often enough to need a dedicated imager rather than the rear camera.
