Zebra MC9400

The MC9400 is the WLAN-only member of Zebra's ultra-rugged MC9000 Series, built for the heaviest-duty warehouse, manufacturing and ports-and-yards work. It exceeds a 3.65 m drop to concrete per MIL-STD-810H, with an enterprise-standard rating of 8 ft. (2.4 m) across its full -20°C to +50°C operating range, and seals to IP65/IP68.

Scanning reaches from in-hand out to 30.5 m with the SE58 Extended Range engine, or the SE4770 for standard barcode capture. Six field-replaceable keypad layouts — from a 29-key numeric pad up to a 58-key alphanumeric layout, including dedicated 5250/VT terminal-emulation keys — let one device cover picking, put-away and administrative data entry without a software workaround. A freezer-rated configuration with a heated scan window and touch panel is also available from the same platform.
