The NS42 is for the inspections you cannot write a rule for. Its deep learning anomaly detection is trained on what good looks like and flags what departs from it, which catches defects a traditional tool was never told to look for.
Its deep-learning OCR uses a pre-trained network to read characters that rule-based OCR struggles with — distorted, low-contrast, marked directly on the part. A powerful processor keeps both fast enough for a line.
