Zebra TC501

The TC501 is the standard-ruggedness flagship of Zebra's reimagined TC5 Series, built around a 6-inch AMOLED FHD+ display reaching 1500 NITS peak brightness and a Qualcomm Dragonwing Q-6690 processor. It handles a 2.44 m drop to concrete at room temperature (2.74 m with the optional rugged boot), survives two to four times the tumbles of prior TC5 Series devices, and adds thermal-shock testing for workers moving between hot and cold environments.

Three scan engines — SR500, the 60°-angled SR560, and the AC670 Advanced Range Color engine — cover different capture jobs, and a short-range integrated UHF RFID reader (up to 2 m, 200+ tags/second) comes built in rather than as a sled. Standard and extended batteries (5000/7240 mAh) are the most powerful in the TC5 line, with Wi-Fi 7 and 5G for connectivity.
