Zebra ZD120
Zebra's simplest desktop printer — direct thermal only, plug in and print, no configuration.
Entry-level direct-thermal desktop printer for shipping and picking labels. USB only, no onboard ZPL/EPL programming layer — driven entirely through Windows drivers and ZebraDesigner.
Request a quoteThe ZD120 is Zebra's simplest desktop printer: connect the included USB cable, install the Windows driver, and it's ready to print. There's no configuration menu, no display beyond a tri-colour status LED, and the media holder is fixed for 4-inch labels, so there's nothing to adjust on load. It runs on Windows drivers and ZebraDesigner rather than an onboard ZPL/EPL programming layer — built for a PC-driven print queue, not a stand-alone or networked deployment.
Direct thermal only, 203 dpi, print speed up to 6 in./s (152 mm/s) over a 104 mm maximum print width. Media runs 86-107 mm wide, up to 228.6 mm per label, on rolls up to 127 mm OD on a 25.4 mm or 38 mm core. Memory is 8 MB SDRAM. The only interface is USB 2.0 — no Ethernet, no Wi-Fi, no Serial — powered from an external 24 VDC/2.5 A supply.
ZebraDesigner Essentials is bundled free for basic label layouts, with ZebraDesigner Pro for ZD120 (Chinese-interface support included) as a paid step up for more complex designs. Third-party transportation and logistics shipping software prints to it through the same Windows driver.
