Zebra ZD611

The ZD611 sits above the ZD411 in Zebra's desktop range: 8 in./s (203 mm/s) print speed against the ZD411's 6, standard Ethernet rather than an add-on, a media dancer on thermal-transfer builds for consistent print quality regardless of speed, and RFID and ZeroLiner linerless configurations the ZD400 range doesn't offer at all. A 4.3-inch full-colour touch display comes standard on the RFID, thermal-transfer and healthcare builds, though not on the plain direct-thermal ZD611d.

Print width tops out at 56 mm over the same 991 mm maximum label length as the ZD411. Media runs 15-60 mm wide on rolls up to 127 mm OD; ribbon (thermal transfer only) runs 33-58 mm wide, 74 m to a roll. Memory is 512 MB Flash and 256 MB SDRAM. Ethernet, USB 2.0 and USB Host are standard; Serial RS-232 is field-installable (standard on the wider ZD621 instead); a dual-radio 802.11ax/Bluetooth 5.3 or 802.11ac/Bluetooth 4.2 wireless kit is factory- or field-installable.

The ZD611R adds UHF RFID (EPC Gen 2 V2.1, RAIN RFID) through Zebra's RE40 reader/encoder with adaptive encoding. The ZD611 Linerless is direct-thermal only, built and tested for Zebra ZeroLiner labels. Healthcare builds (ZD611d-HC, ZD611t-HC) add the white colour scheme, IEC 60601-1-compliant power supply, disinfectant-ready plastics and sealed-button interface common to Zebra's other -HC printers.
