Zebra ZT111
Zebra's entry-level industrial printer — full metal-frame durability at a lower price.
A budget industrial label printer that keeps the metal-frame build and tool-free maintenance of Zebra's higher-end range, at a smaller footprint and price. Wi-Fi, a second Ethernet port, a peel unit or a cutter are all field-installable later rather than paid for up front.
Request a quoteThe ZT111 is Zebra's entry-level industrial printer, built to a tighter budget than the ZT400/ZT600 ranges without dropping to desktop-printer durability. Its architecture handles more jobs at once than the printers it replaces, and a bi-fold door — shorter to open than a top-hinged one — keeps its footprint small on a crowded bench. The printhead and platen come out without tools, and onboard printhead-element-out detection flags wear before it produces a bad label.
Print speed tops out at 10 ips (254 mm/s) at 203 dpi, or 6 ips (152 mm/s) with the 300 dpi option fitted, over a maximum print width of 104 mm. Media runs 19.4-114 mm wide on rolls up to 203 mm OD on a 76 mm core, or 152 mm OD on a 25 mm core; ribbon, for the thermal-transfer option, runs 51-110 mm wide, 450 m to a roll. Standard connectivity is USB 2.0, RS-232 Serial, 10/100 Ethernet, USB Host and Bluetooth Low Energy, with NFC tap-to-pair; a second Ethernet port or 802.11ac Wi-Fi are field-installable options, as are a front-mount peel unit or guillotine cutter.
Software is Print DNA Basic rather than the full Print DNA suite on Zebra's higher-end engines — enough to get the printer running and evolving, without the fleet-management depth of Printer Profile Manager Enterprise. Security still comes standard: Secure Boot, Protected Mode against unwanted setting changes, and Simplified Printer Decommissioning for a clean wipe when the printer is retired or moved. Firmware covers ZPL/ZPL II, optional ZBI 2.0, and EPL/EPL2 for compatibility with older label formats (EPL only on the 203 dpi build) — useful for dropping the ZT111 into a line built around another brand's printer, since it also emulates other manufacturers' command languages without rewriting label code.
