Zebra ZT510

The ZT510 succeeds Zebra's long-running 105SLPlus, carrying over its rugged, all-metal construction and sealed dome buttons that keep dust, dirt and moisture out, while adding Link-OS for remote management. Unlike the ZT400/ZT600 lines, it has no colour touchscreen — status and settings run through a backlit multi-line display with a physical keypad and password protection — and it offers neither RFID nor an Applicator Interface, positioning it as a straightforward workhorse printer rather than an integration platform.

Print speed reaches 12 ips (305 mm/s), over a 104 mm maximum print width and up to 3810 mm of continuous print length at 203 dpi. Media runs 20-114 mm wide on rolls up to 203 mm OD on a 76 mm core; ribbon runs 51-110 mm wide, 450 m to a roll. Standard connectivity is USB, Serial, Gigabit Ethernet and Bluetooth LE, with 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, Parallel, USB Host or an external IPv6 dongle as options. Power draw is rated at 250 W.

Firmware covers ZPL/ZPL II, optional ZBI 2.0 and XML-enabled printing for direct XML label formatting. NFC pairs the printer with the Print Touch app on Android devices, and dynamic QR codes on the display link straight to Zebra's troubleshooting videos when something goes wrong.
