Zebra ZT610

The ZT610 succeeds Zebra's Xi Series, carrying forward its heavy-gauge all-metal construction and adding a 4.3-inch full-colour touch display, fan-less thermal management, and Zebra DNA software. It sits above the ZT400 line in throughput and memory — 1 GB RAM against the ZT411's 256 MB — and above the ZT510 in having RFID and an Applicator Interface available at all.

Print speed reaches 14 ips (356 mm/s), over a 104 mm maximum print width and up to 3810 mm of continuous print length at 203 dpi. Media runs 20-114 mm wide on rolls up to 203 mm OD on a 76 mm core; ribbon runs 20-110 mm wide, 450 m to a roll. Standard connectivity is USB 2.0, RS-232 Serial, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth and dual USB Host ports, with two open card slots for a second Ethernet port, Parallel, an 802.11ax/Bluetooth 5.3 wireless card, an Applicator Interface, or an external IPv6 dongle.

The 600 dpi ZT610 can be built as a Micro Label Printer: up to 50% more precise registration than a standard ZT610 600 dpi unit, for labels as small as 3 mm, at the cost of the cutter and RFID options (tear and rewind/peel only). UHF RFID (EPC Gen 2 V2.1, ISO/IEC 18000-63, RAIN RFID) is field-installable in about five minutes on the standard build, with the same adaptive encoding as the rest of Zebra's RFID range.
