The FS40 is the step up from the FS20: a stronger internal illumination system and the power to drive external lighting, which is what marginal codes on awkward surfaces need.
It packages the full industrial data-capture feature set in one device, and a software licence turns it into a machine vision smart camera without changing the hardware — the same unit inspects as well as decodes. Zebra Aurora handles setup and deployment.
