Zebra RFD8500
UHF RFID and 1D/2D barcode sled for Zebra and third-party mobile devices.
Adds enterprise UHF RFID and 1D/2D scanning to compatible mobile devices, tablets and smartphones, attached permanently or only when needed.
The RFD8500 turns a compatible Zebra or third-party mobile device, tablet or smartphone into an enterprise UHF RFID reader with 1D/2D barcode scanning.
It can be attached permanently, making a dedicated inventory device, or clipped on only for the jobs that need RFID. A power-optimising algorithm holds battery life across a full shift even under heavy use.
Batch mode keeps work moving where there is no wireless coverage, and the Zebra Easy Text Interface lets existing applications take its data without being rewritten.
