The RFD9030 is the standard-range member of Zebra's ultra-rugged RFID sled line, for supply-chain work where the reader takes a beating.
It is sealed to IP65 and IP67 and tested to drops of about 1.8 m, and reads more than 1,300 tags per second at a range of roughly 6.7 m. eConnex pairing snaps it to current and future Zebra mobile computers, and to third-party smartphones; Wi-Fi 6 handles updates over the air.
Adaptors change without tools, so a device never leaves the floor for retrofitting. The scan engine is a choice of the standard-range SE4750MR or the extended-range SE4850.
