The FX7500 pairs a Zebra-designed RFID radio with a Linux-based network architecture, which is what makes it straightforward to integrate: the tools and open-standard interfaces are already there.
It can host embedded applications and run standalone, and supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongles for direct connectivity. Power comes either from a +24 VDC supply or over PoE, which often saves pulling a new power drop to the read point.
