Zebra AltiZ

AltiZ sensors use two cameras and one laser, and the reason is occlusion: where a single camera loses the laser line at a step or an undercut, the second one still sees it. That closes the scanning gaps that show up exactly at the surface junctures you most want measured.

Profiling runs at up to 11,000 per second, and embedded algorithms output consistent profiles, depth maps or point clouds without a host doing the work.
