AltiZ sensors use two cameras and one laser, and the reason is occlusion: where a single camera loses the laser line at a step or an undercut, the second one still sees it.

Profiling runs at up to 11,000 per second, and embedded algorithms output consistent profiles, depth maps or point clouds without a host doing the work.
